One millionth Holden commemorative paperweight

Red, silver and black coloured paperweight incorporating the distinctive horn button design of the 1962 EJ Holden, with the inscription '1962 The year of the Millionth Holden' on the reverse. The paperweight was issued by the GM-H to dealers and clients to commemorate the production of the One Millionth Holden in 1962. The one millionth Holden, a metallic 'Euroa Gold' EJ Premier sedan with a white roof, came off the assembly line on 25 October 1962.

The medallion bears the inscription '1948-1988 Holden, 40 years anniversary, 1988 VN Commodore' on the front in relief, and '1948-215 Series Holden, Australia's own car' on the reverse, with an image of a 48-215 [FX] in the centre.

GMH 'advancement of transport' lapel badge

Lapel badge issued to employees: lapel badge featuring the General Motors logo with GMH printed inside, and the inscription 'advancement of transport'. The back of the badge is engraved with M1216. The pin was issued to Mr Eric Prout during World War II, believed by Mr Prout to be a security measure, although another suggestion is that it was issued as an appreciation of employee loyalty during the war years.

Holden jigsaw puzzle, 'The Restoration - Australia'

Jigsaw puzzle titled 'The Restoration - Australia'. A 750 piece unopened puzzle (code 84/2) manufactured by Taylor McPherson Pty.Ltd, Coburg, Victoria, featuring a green Holden 48/215 [FX] parked at the entrance of a workshop, with a number of people closely inspecting the car. The side inscription reads 'On November 29, 1948 the first Holden officially rolled off the assembly line at Fishermen's Bend, Victoria. Commonly called the FX, but code named the 48/215 Holden, it was a 5-6 seater sedan which originally sold for A ₤733. It was powered by a 132.3 cubic inch O.H.V. six cylinder engine. 120,402 were built between 1948 and 1953 when it was superseded by the FJ Holden'.
