Construction work as part of stage 2 of the development of the Arndale store, adding 40,000 square feet and a total of two floors. The photo shows part of the building site with a builders sign attached by 'E.A. Watts'. A flat bed truck belonging to 'Cyclone Scaffolding' is parked alongside. Photo taken on 2 April 1973.
