Summary

Display panel from a commemorative window celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Smith Brothers' flight from England to Australia in 1919, comprising two photographs. The first shows the Vickers Vimy crew standing before their aircraft at Hounslow - Keith Smith, Ross Smith, Jim Bennett and Wally Shiers. The second photo shows the presentation of the 10,000 pound cheque to Ross Smith by the Prime Minister of Australia, the Hon. W.M. Hughes.
