Valley Lake and Henty Hut
Photograph showing Valley Lake with Henty Hut in the foreground. The hut was built in 1839 by Stephen George Henty in an area between Brownes and Valley Lakes, where he could observe approaching Aboriginal people and avoid being attacked. A monument was later erected on this site.
