Summary

River steamer "Tyro" on the slips at Goolwa. The boiler of this steamer blew up 20 Nov 1897, badly scalding Captain Randell and engineer Trounson. She was rebuilt at Mannum. She weighed 72 tons and shuttled between Murray Bridge and Mannum from 1884 to at least 1917. She was destroyed by fire at Murray Bridge in 1926.
