Summary

Clyde, built at Echuca, and The Australien - built at Echuca in 1897. "Clyde" was built from a barge called "Mudie". According to a researcher, the P.S. Clyde was actually built up on the hull of the "Result" barge in 1888. Engineer James Quin died after getting his clothing caught by the engine shaft in 1907. "Australien" was launched in 1897. The Chinese cook Jimmy Ah Kee drowned in 1901. She last served as a logging steamer above Yarrawonga Weir.
