Summary

General notes

On the back of the mount is information about the tree. Its trunk circumference was 44 feet eight inches and it was cut down about 1920. A separate note has been stuck on the back with a hand drawn map of the area where the tree grew, showing its proximity to a bridge which crossed Farnham Road, near Anzac Highway. Its distance along Farnham Road from Ashford House on the Everard estate was about 48 yards.
