View of Wudinna across the railway line. The sequence of the photographs are 1,3,2. This makes a panoramic view of the Eyre Peninsula town in 1936. In 1914 the site was virgin scrub upon which was a solitary iron hut. In 1936 it was the centre of a wheat and wool producing district. The fertile soil around the base of the granite structures was enriched by runoff channels directing rain away from the granite domes
