A coloured lithograph of Port Augusta views produced by lithographers Rider & Mercer of Ballarat for the 'Port Augusta and Quorn Dispatch'. In addition to views of places throughout Port Augusta, some of which have been produced from photographs, it also includes two maps and an acknowledgement which reads 'the advertisements on this sheet contracted for by Wellesley A. Parker, Palace Hotel, Melbourne'. This lithograph was published in the 'Port Augusta and Quorn dispatch' newspaper on 28 October 1892. View of 'Gladstone Square - showing A.D. Tassie's monument, the Pioneer of Port Augusta'. The inscription reads: "To the memory of Alexander Drysdale Tassie, Merchant, and first settler in Port Augusta, who died January 26th, 1875, aged 40 years. This tribute of reaspect is erected by some of his friends as a mark of esteem, and in recognition of his many good qualities during a residence of nearly 20 years in this township". The picture was 'presented by J. Holdsworth Esq., Town Clerk'.

Five vignettes showing the premises of 'Trewenack & Bice, engineers, wheelwrights, blacksmiths, and agricultural implements manufacterers, Flinders Terrace, Port Augusta'. According to a researcher Bice and Trewenack provided vehicles for Cobb & Co. coaches. John George Bice (partner of Trewenack) later became Mayor of Port Augusta and also went into Parliament representing the Northern Districts. Bice was knighted in 1923 and died in November of that year.
