Summary

Print from the original uncoloured lithograph. Lithographed sketch of a street scene at Klemzig, a village of German settlers near Adelaide. Based on a drawing by George French Angas, the lithographer is likely to have been J.W. Giles. It appeared as plate 12 in the book 'South Australia Illustrated', published 1847. The view looks along a street with neat cottages on either side with a pair of bullocks harnessed to a hay wagon in the foreground.
