Summary

[General description] This is probably Miller Anderson's haberdashery department. On one side of the room there are bolts of cloth stacked on shelves against the wall, on the other there are small boxes of things like lace and trimmings. Examples of various goods are displayed hanging high on rails. The two long counters provide a number of chairs for the customers. [On back of photograph] 'Interior, Miller Anderson & Company's store, 20-22 Hindley Street, June 1898'.
