Summary

[General description] Students and staff are all lined up in front of the North Adelaide Model School building, with the smartly uniformed school band standing proudly out the front. The building, designed by E.J. Woods, (who also designed the 'model school' in Grote Street), is of stone with brick facings and features a bell tower. [On back of photograph] 'Tynte Street, Public School, 1889, far side of the school is 40 yards west of Margaret Street and frontage is 48 yards'.
