Summary

Jerningham Street, west side; Lion Brewery staff picnic about to start off in five horse drawn wagons outside the Brewery. The Employee's Picnic was held on November 24, 1900. The far side of the base of the chimney is 71 yards south of Melbourne Street. The wagons are packed with employees holding umbrellas and wearing wide brimmed hats to shade themselves from the sun.
