Summary

[General description] The impressive Edwardian style red brick Goodman building, sited on Hackney Road. It is named after Sir William George Toop Goodman who was chief engineer (1907-1950) and manager (1908-1950) of the Municipal Tramways Trust (MTT) of South Australia where he oversaw the construction of South Australia's tramways. [On back of photograph] 'Municipal Tramways Trust offices, Hackney / 1910-19 / Presented by family of Mr. J. Gazard'.
