Historical information

The Kelly Street Church opened on 11 July 1920 on land purchased by Broken Hill Proprietary for the purpose. It was used by Presbyterian and Anglican Congregations for worship. As Congregations and Sunday School numbers declined in the late 1950s, the Sunday School was combined with St Andrew's Presbyterian Church (built and opened in September 1941), and Kelly Street Church was sold (April 1964) and demolished in 1967.
