Summary

Township of Yankalilla view showing the old Bible Christian Church and the manse at the rear and the Anglican Church in distance. The Bible Christian Church was erected in 1856 near the mill. It reopened for services in 1860. The Anglican Church is now called The Shrine of Our Lady of Yankalilla but was formerly known as Christ Church. This photograph shows a rural scene at Yankalilla with the main street and buildings in the valley surrounded by farmland and bush on the hillsides.
