Summary

A print of a sketch by Leslie Wilkie of the dormitories at the Destitute Asylum. This image is on the inside of a Christmas card sent by 'the Officers of the Public Library, Museum and Art Gallery of S.A., Adelaide' in 1932 (see B 8562A for the image on the front of the card). A note opposite the print reads 'Within the precincts of the Public Library, Museum and Art Gallery, Adelaide. [Land now dedicated for Public Library, Museum and Art Gallery purposes includes portion of that on which stand the old Destitute Asylum buildings.]'.
