Summary

Children's Playground at Port Pirie. This playground was built in one day in 1918 by 2,000 employees from the Broken Hill Associated Smelters, from the General Mananger downwards "for the love of children". Sand, earth, garden material, 25,000 bricks and full grown cotton palms.
