Summary

[General description] This new building has a cement rendered facade in the Art Deco style. It is two storey, divided into two wings, one each side of a central stairwell. The balconies have plain tubular steel rails and a curved section over the doorways. The motor car at the kerb is a 'Whippet' [On back of photograph] 'Acres 673 and 762 / South Terrace east / April 26th,1939 / This building was erected in 1939 / Compare with B 7481 / Left side of building in centre is 21 1/2 yards east of Charlotte Street / Frontage: 118 yards' This building was erected in 1939.
