Summary

[General description] This large two storey house has a wrought iron decorated balcony and front fence. Known as Torrens House it became the premises for the Mothers and Babies Health Association's mothercraft hospital and training school in 1939. [On back of photograph] 'Acre 672 / South Terrace east / 7th April 1939 / The single storey addition on the right at the rear was made in 1938 / Compare with B 7443 / Left side of the two storey house is 51 1/2 yards east of Charlotte Street / Frontage: 12 yards / For a view of this building after alterations completed on October 6th, 1950 see B12500'.
