Summary

[General description] Schoolchildren outside Grange Public School, boys in front, arranged by height and girls lined up behind. The school, built around 1880, is a single storey stone building with red brick quoins and an end gable with decorative timber barge boards. There is a porch at its entrance. [On back of photograph] 'Grange Public School in the eighteen eighties / Presented by Miss A. Simmons'.
