Summary

Lands Titles Department Staff in 1915. This department was established in 1841 when it was known as the Registration of Deeds. Sir Robert Torrens introduced his bill which later became the Real Property Act in 1857. This photograph was taken taken during First World War and sadly many of the staff perished fighting in the war.
