Summary

Hyde Park tram sheds. The photograph depicts a group of drivers, conductors and stable hands. The Manager of the Company. Mr J. Sanders is standing in the centre of the back row. The young conductors are wearing flower buttonholes, with their ticket punching machines are slung around their necks. The drivers can be seen holding their horse whips. One man wearing a leather apron is probably the blacksmith and others are carrying horse grooming equipment. The Hyde Park Tram Depot was located on the corner of Westall and Northgate Streets.
