Summary

A procession of trams travelling along Grenfell Street, led by No. 1 bedecked in garlands and flags, to launch the new electric tram system. A large crowd of people packs the street to view the trams. The Trustee Building, second from left, was on the northwestern corner of James Place and was demolished in 1922.
