Summary

View looking southwest of trams in King William Street through Victoria Square. Trams include 234 (an F type drop centre) and an E1 type. Cars are parked along the side of the road. The statue of John McDouall Stuart appears in the foreground, and Moore's Department Store frames the back of the photo. The Marine and Harbors Building is visible at the upper right in its old location: in 1979 it was moved 34 metres to the north to accommodate the new SGIC building.
