Summary

Opening of Advertiser "Learn to Swim" meeting in the Burra Mine Pool. The photograph shows mainly children perched on the surrounding rocks ready to brave the mine pool chilly waters. The pool was opened in 1932 by Mr EW Crewes and the instructor was Mr Nation. It has a diving board and changing sheds.
