Summary

View of the Vickers Vimy G-EAOU and crew about to land at Northfield, Adelaide on 23 March 1920. Annotations on the front of the photograph: 'London to Adelaide, 23.3.1920. The Landing. Sir Ross Smith, Sir Keith Smith, Sargeants Shiers and Bennett'. Written on back of photograph: 'Smith, Lembert St, Sturt'. The photograph was taken by Charles Edwin Staveley who had ridden his bike to the airfield to take the photograph.
