Historical information

Doctor George Simpson has been described as John Flynn's right hand man in the Flying Doctor Service. He was appointed honorary medical adviser to the Australian Inland Mission Board by Flynn (1925-1939). He also conducted surveys for aerial medical areas from 1927-1937.
