Produced from a glass plate negative (10 x 12.5 cm) taken by Orlando Hutchinson, this image features two young women seated in a car parked in a bush setting. Both are casually dressed, one in a lacy slip; the other with a mob cap, and reading a book. There is an enamel basin on the running board, and rugs on the ground in the foreground.
