Summary

Flinders Column, commemorating the sighting and naming of Mount Lofty in 1802 by Matthew Flinders, originally erected in 1885. The column was named in 1902. Sight-seers are admiring the monument and the views from the summit, and the rear of a parked car can be seen on the right.
