Summary

Australian soldiers wearing military uniforms, including slouch hats, standing in a grassy field with trees on the right, possibly in South Africa during the Boer War. The group of approximately twenty men is standing around the flag of Great Britain which is on the ground covering a small mound. This is possibly the burial of a fellow soldier.
