The following public buildings along North Terrace, now known as The North Terrace Precinct, can be seen going east along the northern side of North Terrace; The South Australian Institute Building, the wings of The State Library of South Australia and The South Australian Museum, The Art Gallery of South Australia, The Mitchell Building, The Jubilee Exhibition Building (site demolished 1962, now part of the University of Adelaide campus buildings, Napier and Ligertwood buildings), The Brookman Building (South Australian Institute of Technology, now University of South Australia) and The Royal Adelaide Hospital, to the far east, on the Frome Road corner. A tram and tram lines extending far east along North Terrace, are visible.
