Historical information

Ellen Emily Saunders (nee Clarke) b.1918/19-d.3 June 2010 and her husband Arthur Saunders, who migrated to Adelaide 1988 formerly of Kent, UK. Ellen (Nellie's) parents were Mr and Mrs G. Clarke of Margate, Kent, UK. The photographs were taken late 1950s-1960s and include their home at Hampstead Gardens, holidays at Rapid Bay, Victor Harbor and the Murray River, and also feature their Ford station wagon registration SA 234-005 and sedan registration SA 330-555. One caption describes her hot week in 1961, when they had all their meals in the garden, including Christmas Day. See B 74130/1-20.
