Historical information

Clifford Moore was born 19 March 1908. A timber worker, he enlisted in the Australian Army at Mount Gambier in 1940, and was assigned as a clerk in the 9th Division Headquarters. He was part of the Rats of Tobruk campaign, and also served in New Guinea before his discharge in 1945. He later served as the President of the Timber Workers' Union. He died on 11 July 1989.
