The rockery, or Grotto, in Marchant's Garden, inset with seashells, mica and quartz pebbles, and cherubs and a bird statue sitting atop the rocks. The garden is part of the home originally owned by the Marchant family, located on the corner of Julian Terrace and Tod Street, Gawler. The garden was a well-known feature of the Gawler landscape.
