A postcard loose in an album of 35 photographs taken by Harold Vynne Woods at Gallipoli between April and November 1915. This has a picture of Stonehenge on the front; there is a note written in pencil on the back of the card: 'Amesbury July 26/16. Dear Dolfluis, I am just sending this card to let you know Im [in] England and am well. We landed at Marseilles and came on to Havre by rail. We [indecipherable] two days and three in Gl[?] in the van -- --d were very tired when we got [indecipherable]. We are camped at Salisbury and it is a good camp. Went over and had a look[?] at Stonehenge last night. It is within a mile from here. The camp is 70 miles from London and we are going on leave. It is nice(?) [indecipherable] £7 so expect a good time. Goodbye Jocles [indecipherable].
