Summary

Members of the visiting teams for the Lacrosse Carnival held in Adelaide in August 1926, at the Mayoral reception on Thursday 12 August 1926 (described in the 'News', Thursday 12 August 1926, page 4). The photograph appeared in the 'Chronicle' on Saturday 21 August 1926, page 40, with the following caption: FIVE INTER-STATE TEAMS. Krischock, photo. Lacrosse teams, representing South and Western Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland, met in Adelaide for a series of games. They were accorded a civic reception by the acting Lord Mayor (Alderman Isaacs). The centre picture is of the teams photographed with members of the Adelaide City Council and local lacrosse enthusiasts'.
