Summary

Photograph taken during an opening event held at the State Library of South Australia to raise funds for the purchase of a limited edition set of colour prints, known as Banks Florilegium. The Premier of South Australia, David Tonkin, is at the front of the group, the man in the middle is John Jefferson Bray. Peter Morgan, from the Friends of the State Library, can just be seen at the back. The group are walking through the Symon Library in the State Library building. A man in costume announces their arrival by playing a pipe.
