Historical information

Service number 1088 Private Harold Thomas Scattergood was born in 1893 in England. He enlisted at Adelaide, South Australia, on 10 September 1914 and served with the 16th Infantry Battalion in Gallipoli until discharged due to wounding in 1915. He enlisted again as a Gunner, Service number 35240, at Adelaide on 12 April, 1917 and served with the Field Artillery Brigade in France. He died in Norwood, South Australia, on 10 July 1971.
