Summary

Bookmakers at a race meeting, Victoria Park Racecourse. This photograph shows a rainy scene at the Victoria Park Racecourse with bookmakers and the clerks sheltering from the rain under umbrellas. It was taken on 1st December 1937 supposedly on a summer's day. The steps leading to the grandstand can be seen in the far left of the photograph. One of the jumps can also be seen in the background.
