State Library - staff parties and 1980 exhibition
A collection of photos of staff parties in the State Library, compiled by staff member Juliana Bayfield, together with a selection of photos from the 'Century of Fun' exhibition. Also included are a number of programs and scripts from the staff parties. There has been a limited amount of identification of people featured in the photographs, but includes various events (Gilbert Collection exhibition, Australia to 1918 exhibition, visits of Fat Cat and Humphrey B. Bear to the Children's Library, and the first SLSA Christmas party in 1966); SLSA staff (including Ray Olding, Sue Robinson, Helen Thompson, Valmai Hankel, Juliana Bayfield, Sue Mildred, Jennifer Kimber, Rosemary White, Dennis Cooper, Brian Kugelman, Peter Lasenewich, and others); and visitors (including David & Christobel Mattingly, Joan Aiken, Tony Gilbert, Harry & Marcie Muir, Jim Crawford, Professor Donald Horne, Harry Bahlin, Noel Stockdale, Len Woodley, Jim Dwyer, Helen O'Halloran-Giles, Fat Cat and Humphrey B.
