'The Shearer Steamcar made an historic visit yesterday to the Mannum factory where it was built in 1899 by David Shearer. The factory is now owned by Horwood Bagshaw Limited. The Steamcar was last driven in 1903 and has been restored by the Sporting Car Club of S.A. The Steamcar was driven by Mr. Bill Burnside during the Sporting Car Club Rally March 18-25, and will eventually b displayed at the National Motor Museum, Birdwood Mill'.
