Summary

Historic reproduction image of flooding, location unknown 8/12/1999. According to a researcher, it is Cowandilla Road, Cowandilla, off Brooker Street. It is more than likely it is the Keswick Creek which had overflowed. This was a big problem for years with flooding until a 'lovely' concrete drain was built. Looking at the names on buildings, Adelaide Collar etc became a company in 1924 - and it was around 1926 when C T Wallis was there as well
