"The restaurant was on top of small hill with a caravan park below The manager was an Italian ex cruise ship entertainment director All staff including the chef had to put-on costumes and dance a can-can and a tarantella between courses We didn't get paid for our practice time The restaurant boasted an English Chef, a French menu and some upmarket delusions including what used to be called silver service There was a German oom pah band complete with leder-hosen The Dutch headwaiter (Martin) and the manager both entertained with cheesy songs From left: the girl I shared a caravan with, an italian waiter, me, a bartender, Martin, Trenna or Trinna? a waitress, the Chef and another waitress" Yvonne Thompson.
