Historical information

George Ernest Meadows lived at 99 Gilles Street, Adelaide, then at 20 Melbourne Street, North Adelaide, and later at Henley Beach, before moving to Victoria. In 1952 he died at the age of 84 and is buried in the Springvale Cemetery. He married Jessie Shaw, granddaughter of SA colonial artist James Shaw.
