Summary

Large group photograph of the members of the St. Augustine's Ladies' Auxiliary, 18th Battery, affiliated with the Unley Church. Embroidered auxiliary flag seen held in the centre of the first row. According to a researcher, this would be a support group for the 18th Field Artillery Battery of the 6th Brigade of the 2nd Division of the AIF in world war one (The Division is the diamond on the flag). The flag would almost certainly be for the unit.
