Historical information

George T. Polson was head master of the Alberton Primary School 1927-1928. The Education Gazette issue for 20 January 1928, p.18 lists the names of all staff in the Primary and Infant Departments, some of whom would be in this photograph. It appeared in one of Ivy Watson's photo albums recording holidays in the Victorian snowfields and the Lakes Entrace area, which were not copied for the collection.
