Summary

Waymouth Place, east side, October 1st 1937. Photograph taken from a point about 20 yards north of Waymouth Street. Waymouth Street extended north for 54 and a third yards from the northern alignment of Hall Court. Entrance to Hall Court is shown on the left of the photograph. The nondescript buildings shown through the archway were demolished in 1939 to make way for the new Savings Bank Building. The erection of the new building necessitated the closing of the major part of Waymouth Place. The frontage of the new bank building is on the west side of King William Street on Acres 140 and 171.
