It includes people standing on balustrades of an imposing stone building, with large marble-like columns and tower above a concrete embankment, and a marquis. There are stalls and vehicles, wire fence netting in front. Signs visible include Richard Spencer Carriages, Lion Coffee, G.H. Barlow carts.

It includes a driver with a bus, carrying the signs 'T.S.Wheeler & Son Norwood, Picnic Parties, Carriers', and also a two seater car with Swift numberplate and sign. Other signs advertise Hardy's Wines, T. W. Vetter, Fry's Cocoa rotunda, Amgoorie tea, Lion flour, Milch Cows. Empty benches, hay rack, men in suits, women with elaborate hats, and a child are also visible.

Mounted policeman in park ca 1913. 9 cm x 11.7 cm. This photo shows a mounted policeman, with another policeman standing behind him, in a park bordered by two-storey houses. The houses have verandahs, Tudor decorations and chimneys, and the right-hand house has a domed corner gable. There is a tall palm tree between the houses, and there are deciduous trees in the park. A church steeple and city buildings can be seen in the distance beyond the right-hand house.
