Summary

The 'Murray Bridge Eight', pictured on the water. This rowing team was known as the 'Cods' and represented Australia at the Olympics in Paris, 1924. From left: R.A.Cummings (cox), W.H. Pfeiffer (stroke), F.M. Cummings (7), W.M. Sladden (6), A.E. Tauber (5), A.V. Scott (4), W.H. Jarvis (3), E.D. Thomas (2), A.E. Graetz (bow). Emergency crew (not pictured) were F. Wendt and G. Tucker, with C.A.M. West (manager) and E.W. Higgs (coach).
